TITLE:

Project Success I

DESCRIPTION:

Project Success is a Best Practice workshop as identified by the National Staff Development Council for all teachers grade K-12.  If you would like to find instant strategies to help your students improve their thinking through writing while focusing on vocabulary building, figurative language, and paragraph construction, this program fits your needs.  We will also look at various assessment rubrics and the tie in to 6 Trait Writing.  This workshop is hands-on, fast-moving, and low stress.  A Level I manual will be provided to each school that has a teacher attending.  Every teacher will receive a binder with pertinent materials.

ENROLLMENT:

No limit

CREDIT:

15 OPI renewal units OR 1 graduate credit through Montana State University-Northern. MSU-N will charge $130.00 for this credit which is paid at the workshop.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

FEE POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member  / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member 

Please submit registration fees by June 1, 2009.  If we have not received your payment by June 1st, and the workshop is full, you will be bumped should we receive registration with payment from another registrant.  If you are bumped from a workshop you will be notified.  After June 1st registration fees must be sent at the time of registration.  NO refunds after June 1, 2009.
