DESCRIPTION: |
Based on a Ready-to-Go grant Round 2—Building World Views Using Traditional Cultures and Google Earth developed by Michael Munson-Lenz, Lisa M. Blank, and Jeffrey W. Crews, this 2-day, hands-on workshop will enable you and your students to find their own special Place Names and create a Google Earth Tour. Reproducible classroom materials and DVDs will be provided. |

15 OPI renewal units OR 1 graduate credit through Montana State University-Northern. MSU-N will charge $140.00 for this credit which is paid at the workshop by the participant. |

Participant’s lodging (February 15, 2010) if needed and meals will be paid by the grant. |

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: |
Participants need to bring a wireless internet capable laptop. Participants need to bring a Flash/USB storage device. Participants need to have Google Earth 5 installed or rights to install on the laptop (a free download at http://earth.google.com/) |
