TITLE:

Tech Toys Tech Camp for Tech Coordinators

DESCRIPTION:

Are you in charge of all the technology in your district? Attend this Tech Camp for IT! Start with a round table discussion of current topics including security, firewalls, virtual servers, Windows Servers, Cache Boxes, iPads/iOS, GSuite, chrome books, Macs, Wi-Fi management, budgeting, tech planning, streaming video, and much more. Then we will break into groups for hands-on and in-depth discussions about individual topics.

TIME:

8:30 a.m.-Noon and 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. daily

Cut Bank High School Computer Lab, 101 3rd Ave SE Cut Bank, MT

ENROLLMENT:

Limit of 25

CREDIT:

15 OPI renewal units OR 1 graduate credit through Montana State University-Northern. MSU-N will charge $150.00 for this credit which is paid at the workshop.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member. 

REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED UPON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT ONLY.  Registration and payment accepted online www.gtccmt.org, or mail to 1010 Oilfield Ave Shelby, MT 59474.  If workshop is full before payment is received, you will be refunded.  NO refunds after May 31, 2018.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Cell phones, iPads, laptops, tablets and Chromebooks can be brought but are optional. You may want to bring a (light) jacket, as the room is air-conditioned.
