Workshop: 2107
TITLE:
Making Learning Memorable in 2021
DESCRIPTION:
Spice up your lesson plans to make them more memorable. An experienced school librarian (25 years) teams up with a first grade teacher (25 years) known for her hands-on and fun learning centers. They plan to help you ramp up your lessons to create learning opportunities students will talk about for years to come. For librarian attendees, the instructors will help you create subject headings that will aid teachers in finding books for different concepts. Not only will you be introduced to some great books for your lessons, but also be given ideas for room transformations that will liven up the school year. Think: Circus, Paro’s Pizza Parlor (transformations), Pirate and Unicorn (breakout rooms) and more!
