TITLE:

Maximizing Student Learning through Collaboration and Co-teaching

DESCRIPTION:

The co-teaching and/or co-planning process encourages two teachers to intentionally plan and deliver instruction for the strongest and most creative lessons. In this course, we will explore how to maximize student learning through collaboration and using strategies to engage all the students in the classroom. Participants will learn about classroom elements that can be differentiated, or modified, to increase the likelihood that each student will learn as much as possible.

Requirements outlined in this syllabus are only for those taking the class for college credit.

OPI Renewal Units OR Continuing Education Credits (through MSU-Northern) will be available. 1 summer semester credit for a 2-day workshop. Price is $150.00 and will be paid at the workshop.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.  

REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED UPON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT ONLY.
