Workshop 215

TITLE:

Mindfulness and Yoga Practices for your Classroom

DESCRIPTION:

Yoga and mindfulness are gaining popularity in classrooms across the world, and for good reason! Studies have found that including yoga in the classroom improves students’ behavior, emotional state, and academic performance, enhances mind-body awareness and increases self-regulation skills, as well as develops physical fitness and health. Importantly, mindfulness and yoga also support teacher resilience and foster a positive classroom climate! Join K-8 licensed educator and RYT 500 yoga teacher, Ashley Sherburne, in a fun workshop that will provide you with practical knowledge, tools and skills needed to implement yoga and mindfulness in your classroom.
