This event will be VIRTUAL and therefore all participants will be able to attend from their classrooms, school computer labs, and/or the comfort of their own home. This institute is PERFECT for all new teachers (5 years or less) and/or teachers new to the Golden Triangle.

The New Teacher Institute provides an overview of all the opportunities provided by the Golden Triangle Cooperative. New teachers will learn how to access curriculum, use the GTCC website, and become involved in curriculum committee work. We will look at the professional development opportunities and communication network provided by the GTCC. In addition, everything will be taught on a remote learning platform and remote/distance teaching methods and strategies will be taught and implemented throughout.
9:00am-3:00pm, with plenty of breaks throughout!
6 OPI Renewal Units will be awarded to attendees.
