Popping Podcasts for Captivating Classroom Creations: Producing Podcasts for All Content Areas 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

Join us as we explore the super cool, creative, and applicable ways to use classroom podcasting for all content areas. After all, podcasting isn’t only for journalism electives. Let’s get together to learn how you can assist your students in podcast creation; not only to meet GTCC or MT state standards for technology Integration, but also to grow amazing communicators ready to share your classroom content in audio format. Let’s get ready to take learning from the page to the airwaves!

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

A fully updated laptop or Chromebook (with charger) equipped with a functioning microphone. The microphone may be built into the device or USB connected.  Earbuds/headphones are encouraged.

Requirements outlined in the syllabus are only for those taking the class for college credit.

OPI Renewal Units -OR- 1 semester credit Continuing Education Credits (MSU-Northern) will be available ($150 - paid at the workshop).

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.
