Workshop: 2127
TITLE:
Bridging the Gap
DESCRIPTION:
Bridging the gap between middle school and elementary is a topic that doesn’t get discussed enough. When students come to middle school, many haven’t had the need to be self-disciplined with studying or taking notes. They are going through psychological changes similar to what they go through in the lower elementary years and don’t know how to regulate their new emotions. In this class, we will discuss a multitude of topics, from behavior management in the upper elementary and middle school levels, to strategies on how we can bridge the gap between the two very pivotal times in a child’s life.
