Workshop: 2116
TITLE:
Classroom Management: Setting the Scene for Success
DESCRIPTION:
People generally want to do the right thing. Have you ever driven into a new town and you can’t find a speed limit sign? It’s unnerving. Every classroom is like a different town and students need to know how to navigate through it successfully. This class will focus on identifying expectations for various educational situations and communicating those expectations to students. This course will also focus on what to do when those expectations are not met and how to respond to student behavior, so it does not escalate further.
