Workshop 209
TITLE:
STREAMing Along the Curriculum
DESCRIPTION:
Let’s meet virtually to look at linking a piece of art to Writing and Language Arts as well as Social Studies. Online virtual field trips allow rural teachers to access historical pieces of art and use these in class discussions as well as meet the core curriculum standards. During the two day course, we will video chat, discuss concepts and you will have time to construct a project, this will also allow you time to create an engaging lesson for your classroom. As we visit museums, look at art, and share collaborative lessons, self-reflection and assessment will be a significant part of this workshop.
