TITLE:

Student Podcast Producers - Helping Students Create Audio

DESCRIPTION:

This course will not only share ways to incorporate podcasting in the classroom for student-listeners but will focus on allowing students to become podcasting creators by providing instruction to their amazing teachers! Get excited to learn the tools of the podcasting trade for K-12 student-podcast creation.  Gain exposure to the steps involved to enable students to script, record, edit, and ultimately create their own podcasts!

OPI Renewal Units OR Continuing Education Credits (through MSU-Northern) will be available. 1 summer semester credit for a 2-day workshop. Price is $150.00 and must be paid in advance through Brianna.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please have accessible a PC or MAC, reliable & fully functioning, newer model, with the free Audacity software pre-installed (8 -16 GB Ram), I5 or I7 Processors would be preferable. Webcam with mic or external mic needed.  A Gmail account is recommended.
